Sourced from the Province of BC Tax Rates and Burdens Schedules 704 and 707, this dashboard provides mil rates, assessed values, and property taxes collected for all BC municipalities since 2005.
Sourced from SOFI Reports, this dashboard provides Council remuneration data for most BC municipalities with populations greater than 5,000 since 2023.
Many (not all) muncipalities use the 'Revenue Distribution Method' to calculate mil rates each year. This tool provides a description of the Revenue Distribution Method, and an interactive calculator to see how the mil rate is set using this method.
